Increasingly, pathogenic bacteria, which could previously be treated with antibiotics, are becoming resistant, and even multi-resistant, to antibiotics. Although the search for new antibiotics is continuing, developers of new antimicrobial agents find that they are being outpaced by the targeted bacteria. Part of the solution should therefore come from the behavioural sciences. This collection of lectures addresses solutions to the problem of antimicrobial resistance from different points of view, from modelling future resistance to the possibility of influencing of doctors and patients.
