Challenging complex pressure

Do you want to learn how to deal more effectively with the complex and subtle process of improper influence by management, politics and society? Then take part in the training programme 'Challenging complex pressure'.

Target group

Training programme with intervision for researchers and advisers who stand for their professional independence.

Programme

This programme consists of three separate training days and three intervision meetings. We use interactive working methods (e.g. on the basis of film fragments), in which there is ample space for the participants' own experiences. At the end of the programme:

  • you will be aware of the complex and often subtle process of improper influence within which you perform your work;
  • you will have faced up to yourself as a person and in your professional role within this process;
  • you will be better able to recognise complex situations relating to independence and integrity and – based on your professional role – to discuss them;
  • you will have the skills to see ethical and other dilemmas as challenges and to deal with them more effectively.

We will ask all participants (maximum 12) in advance about their specific learning objectives and compose the programme based on this information.

The training will be provided by Robbert Braak and Karin Wittebrood. Robbert is an experienced trainer, coach and developer of learning programmes (You are better than you think). Karin is a scientific researcher, trainer and coach (Wittebrood - research, training & coaching).
