Marketing yourself & your research

How should you defend your research proposal when applying for a grant? How can you use the media to reach a wide audience? During this training course you’ll learn how to market yourself and your research in concise and effective ways.

PhD students, postdocs and other researchers


In this training course, you’ll explore your values and talents and use them to build a solid, appealing narrative. You’ll improve your personal presentation skills and practise situations that you now try to avoid. You’ll also look at how to present yourself online, for example by examining which social media suit you best (and which you should steer clear of).
