Lean Yellow Belt (process management)

How can you work more efficiently, shorten output times, and improve customer satisfaction? Lean Six Sigma is an internationally acclaimed method for improving processes. You’ll learn to trace, analyse and reduce problems in processes. You’ll also develop the competences you need to head improvement projects and secure changes. You’ll lift yourself and your organisation to a higher level.

Lean Six Sigma is an internationally acclaimed method for improving processes and used in many organisations. This training course will give you the knowledge and insight necessary to optimise your contribution to  improvement projects, both now and in the future. The course leads to Yellow Belt certification, awarded upon successful completion of the relevant practical assignment. Once you are certified, you qualify to enrol in the Lean Green Belt training course. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training will help you to manage improvement processes or projects. Yellow Belt training focuses on the people working on a project or process.

Programme

During the training course, you’ll review the basic principles and theory of the Lean Six Sigma method. You’ll then put theory into practice in various real-life situations and examples. The course covers the following topics:

  • Introduction to Lean and basic principles
  • The structure and five key principles of Lean
  • Methods and techniques
  • Measuring performance
  • Analysing processes
  • Generating solutions to problems
  • Making improvements
  • Securing processes and guaranteeing quality
  • Function and role of Yellow Belts
  • Working in teams and communicating with Green Belts
  • Real-life situations and examples.

  • Duration: Two sessions, from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

  • Group size: Maximum of 12 people

Registration

The Local Consultations Committee (employer and union representatives) considers it well worthwhile to spend part of the employee benefits budget on sustainable career development. Training, courses and coaching meant to support sustainable career development are therefore funded from this budget.
