On 29 and 30 January 2015, NASAC joined forces with the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and UNESCO to organise a consultative forum on open access entitled ‘Towards high level interventions for research and development in Africa’. The conference took place in Nairobi, Kenya.
Various European and South American experts and other open access stakeholders gathered in late January 2015 for a two-day consultative forum at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi.
The aim of the forum was to set the agenda for and create national action plans encouraging and exploring infrastructure-related actions that can be set up with multiple partners.
