The masterclass will be led by two internaitonal acclaimed guests: prof. Peter Sleight and prof. Günter Breithardt The aim of the masterclass is to give PhD students an intensive training in presenting their research and help them reflect on the aim, method and result of their work.
Program
Each student presents his/her work in about 10 minutes. Following the presentations prof. dr. Peter Sleight and prof. dr. Günter Breithardt and the other students reflect on both the form and the content of the presentation.

Günter Breithardt Topic 'The nervous system and arrhythmias’ Biography: Professor Breithardt, MD was head of the Department of Cardiology and Angiology at the Hospital of the University of Münster, Germany, until early 2009 where he managed both patient care and research. Atrial fibrillation was the focus of his clinical responsibilities. Prof. Breithardt is a former president of the European Society of Cardiology and has also been the chairman of a nationwide research network on atrial fibrillation, the Atrial Fibrillation Competence Network (AFNET, Germany). |
