What is the relevance and the relativity of scientific evidence for policy making? We invite you to listen, discuss and contribute to this central question and hence to jointly expand the profession of evidence based policy, together with high level scientists in this field, with policy makers and with directors of advisory bodies.

The seminar is designed for those working in senior positions crucial to connecting science and policy, such as researchers in universities and independent think tanks, members of advisory committees and non-governmental organizations, regulatory scientists, individuals involved with standard settings and negotiations, policy scientists, policymakers and politicians.

The seminar is organised by the Fellowship for Evidence Based Policymaking. This is a cooperation of the Rathenau Instituut, the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT), and the Graduate School of Public Policy of the University of Tokyo.
