8 June 2020

The NIAS fellows year group 2020/21 includes 52 scholars from over thirty disciplines and art practitioners. They come together at NIAS to pursue their curiosity-driven project in an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment.

Applicants go through a rigorous and independent selection procedure where not only are they evaluated on merit and excellence but also on how innovative the research is within their own careers. The fellows are offered workshops and weekly seminars where they present and discuss their work in progress for critical feedback. NIAS hopes to welcome all the fellows in person and has rearranged its living and working spaces in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
