    Evert Willem Beth Foundation

    Researchers may apply for a grant to cover expenses associated with research, study trips, translation or the organization of scientific meetings in the field of logic or philosophy.

    KNAW Education Prize

    The Academy has been rewarding scientifically talented students, their supervising teachers, and schools with the Academy Education Prize since 2008. This prize is awarded annually to the twelve best pre-university (vwo) profile assignments from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Three projects are awarded per profile. With this, the KNAW highlights extraordinary achievements in secondary education.

    Faces of Science

    In the Faces of Science project, PhD candidates communicate about their research and their lives as PhD students through blogs, vlogs, articles, lectures, media appearances and activities on social media. By doing so, they aim to inspire young people and fuel their enthusiasm for science, regardless of their background or level of education.

  • Apply:Is opening 1 November 2025

    KNAW Early Career Partnerships

    Researchers who were awarded their PhDs between three and seven years ago (this term is subject to the Academy extension regulation) and who are employed by a university or research institute in the Kingdom of the Netherlands can apply for EUR 10,000 to organise an interdisciplinary science meeting.
