This prize is awarded annually to the twelve best pre-university (vwo) profile assignments from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Three projects are awarded per profile. With this, the KNAW highlights extraordinary achievements in secondary education.
View prizeIn the Faces of Science project, PhD candidates communicate about their research and their lives as PhD students through blogs, vlogs, articles, lectures, media appearances and activities on social media. By doing so, they aim to inspire young people and fuel their enthusiasm for science, regardless of their background or level of education.
View prizeResearchers who were awarded their PhDs between three and seven years ago (this term is subject to the Academy extension regulation) and who are employed by a university or research institute in the Kingdom of the Netherlands can apply for EUR 10,000 to organise an interdisciplinary science meeting.
